Biggest Losers Austin Andrews and Courtney Crozier Make Plans for Their Future
Starcasm has been reporting for weeks on the possible romance between Biggest Loser Couples Season 11 contestants Austin Andrews and Courtney Crozier. Neither of them have said a word about becoming a couple, and all the talk about Austin’s finding love on the ranch this season has faded to a whisper. But, in an interview with Digital Spy this week, Austin talks about the connection that he and Courtney have, how they have been in touch since leaving the ranch, and how they are making plans to work together to fight childhood obesity.
When asked how he planned to pay it forward after his time on the Biggest Loser ranch, Austin said:
“The best conversations I’ve had to pay it forward are with Courtney Crozier. We’ve both been home and talking on the phone. We really cherish the idea of working together to help students in schools, so that’s the route we are looking to take. We want to work with schools and school districts to create awareness with children, parents and the educational system that health is not only important but something that we need to focus on right now. I don’t know what form it is going to take.”
Then, when asked why he and Courtney gravitated to each other after leaving the ranch, Austin responded:
“We were close on the ranch, very good friends and could talk to one another in ways most people on the ranch couldn’t… You have one of those friends you can spill your guys to a little bit and we’ve been able to be that to one another in a lot of ways… That kind of continued into our time at home. I talked a little bit to her about some of the dreams I was having and thoughts I kept having that were inspiring me to keep going, and she expressed very similar thoughts, which was passing this gift on and really focusing on children. The more we talked about it, the more we realized it was a dream we both had and it would make perfect sense to work together to make it happen.”
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still anxious to know if Austin and Courtney are dating, but this interview suggests that whether or not they’ve found each other romantically, they’ve definitely connected in a deep, lovely, and perhaps long lasting way. Somehow it seems whatever else I might learn about their relationship would likely be less important that that.
