Pure bliss! Jinger Duggar and her new husband, soccer star Jeremy Vuolo, tied the knot just two weeks ago in a traditional ceremony that was featured on their hit series, TLC’s Jill and Jessa: Counting On. The reality TV stars took a break and Jinger and Jeremy gave fans an update on their honeymoon adventures.
Jeremy was the first to address fans in the video uploaded to their official website. The cameras caught up with Jeremy and Jinger at their hotel in Sydney, Australia where the newlyweds planned to spend the first part of their honeymoon.
He said that Syndey is a beautiful city, and his wife Jinger said that she was most looking forwards to seeing a kangaroo while on their vacation, and she even hoped that she might touch one or hold one during their stay. She also said that she was looking forward to trying out local coffee shops and local food.
“I think that’s it for me, is the cultural foods I can’t wait to experience some of the different foods that the Australian culture and the New Zealand culture have to offer,” the 29-year-old athlete said.
Jinger, 22, and Jeremy tied the knot after only five months of courtship on November 5 during a religious ceremony in Jinger’s homestate of Arkansas. Jinger’s famous reality TV family member werer all in attendance, and her sister Jessa (Duggar) Seewald served as the matron of honor in Jinger’s bridal party. Jeremy’s brother also worked double duty as his best man, and the couple’s wedding vows were officiated by Jeremy’s father.

Jinger wore a long-sleeved lace gown featuring hand-sewn beading with a romantic, 13-foot train, Entertainment Tonight reported. Her father, former 19 Kids and Counting star Jim Bob Duggar, walked her down the aisle in the Catherdral of the Ozarks at John Brown University. Due to Jinger and Jeremy’s religious views and strict courtship rules, the couple waited until they said “I Do” to share their first kiss together—which was caught on camera for the TLC special Counting On: Jinger’s Wedding.
“First kiss was amazing,” Jinger gushed to the cameras. “Right on!”
