Scott Disick enters luxury rehab facility in Costa Rica after drunken Atlantic City weekend

Scott Disick rehab for alcohol abuse and addiction

Scott Disick has checked back into rehab in Costa Rica after a weekend of reported binge drinking in Atlantic City.

“I realize my issues are bigger than me and I’m ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle,” Scott said in a statement.

According to TMZ, Lord Disick has entered Rythmia Life Advancement Center in Costa Rica in his latest attempt to deal with his alcohol problems. Rythmia uses the Iboga treatment method for addiction. Iboga treatment uses ibogaine, a naturally occurring psychoactive substance found in plants in the Apocynaceae family such as Tabernanthe iboga, Voacanga africana and Tabernaemontana undulata — according to Wikipedia.

Here is some info on the Rythmia Life Advancement Center (aka Iboga House) from their website:

Iboga House is a licensed drug detox, depression clinic & center for spiritual awakening which treats patients with the natural plant medicine of Iboga. Guided by Moughenda, a 10th generation Shaman, & the only Bwiti provider available outside of Africa, he guides you in the traditional way to heal your body and mind and reawaken your soul. Iboga is here to help humanity, and it all starts with you…

Iboga House prides itself on bridging the gap between the amazing Bwiti tradition (a thousand year old practice with Iboga from Gabon, Africa) and the people in the Western World that desperately need deep healing and de-conditioning. Recent scientific studies reveal that ibogaine, a component of Iboga, dramatically reduces or halts drug addiction and cravings while increasing neuro-plasticity in the brain. Many people report feeling their mind reset, and a lot more free and clear. The Bwiti holds ancient keys and codes of shamanic healing, soul retrievals, and safe practices with Iboga. All treatment and ceremony services at the Iboga House are provided in a retreat setting on a mountain-side ranch in beautiful Costa Rica by Bwiti Shaman Moughenda Mikala and his apprentices.

And here are some of the facility’s amenities:

Rythmia Life Advancement Center is located in a world class, private location in beautiful Costa Rica, just 1.5 miles from the beach. Rythmia is a 61 room boutique-style resort, offering:

Modern, clean and spacious rooms
Pool
Gourmet restaurant and juice bar
A relaxing spa with massages and a mud bath
A gym with new treadmills, ellipticals, stretching roomand more
Beautiful landscaping
Brand new flight deck (location of the Iboga flights)

If you scroll down on the website it says, “ASK US HOW TO CLAIM YOUR FREE HELICOPTER RIDE TO OUR CENTER” with a link to a contact form. TMZ’s article featured a photo of Scott with three other men in front of a helicopter, so I am assuming he opted for the free chopper ride. There is no word if E! cameras were there to capture it for Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
