These photos should put the “are Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz an item” rumors into overdrive. In competition for the most romantic a-lister photos of two a-listers who aren’t romantically involved I submit to you Tom and Cameron strolling through a French vineyard before a news conference in the city of Matillac. Cruise and Diaz are still on their world tour promoting the film Knight and Day and they’ve been seemingly inseparable for months pushing this flick.
Here’s a little mood music for these beautiful photos of two beautiful people sharing a beautiful moment in a beautiful place. No the song isn’t that irritating Beautiful tune!
I’m sure that being in a Hollywood marriage like Cruise and Katie Holmes has to be a continual challenge, as evidenced by the low success rates of celebrity nuptialites. Images like these floating around have to make the situation even more daunting! Possibly compounding this marital stress are recent comments Diaz made disregarding the institution of marriage in a recent interview with Stylist Magazine:
“I think the big misconception in our society is that we’re supposed to meet the one when we’re 18 and we’re supposed to get married to them and love them for the rest of our lives. Bulls**t. Who would want to be with the same person for 80 years?” Diaz said. “Why not break it up a little bit? I think people get freaked out about getting married and spending 20 or 30 years sleeping with the same person but if that’s the case, don’t do it. Have someone for five years and another person for another five years. Life is long and lucky and yes, love might last forever, but you don’t always live with the person you love forever.”
It probably isn’t the best timing for those comments if you’re Tom Cruise. Most recently Diaz has been romantically linked to baseball superstar Alex Rodriguez, that is until these photos get around.
I know! But to tamper the flames that are sure to arise from this little walk in the sun here are two of each star by themselves, although I have to say both Tom and Cameron looked distressed and not as satisfied in these shots.
