The celebriverse is still reeling from last week’s announcement that Hollywood super couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are getting a divorce. Today Katie Holmes was photographed for the first time since the announcement was made, walking through a throng of photographers after exiting the Parsons School of Design where she was filming a guest appearance on Project Runway.
Katie seemed to be forcing a smile as she made her way to a waiting car in a stylish dark blue dress with black trim. It is very clear in the photos that Katie is not wearing her wedding ring on her left hand!
Tom Cruise is reportedly still in Iceland filming the movie Oblivion and dealing the fact that in Tom Cruise marriages, “one day you’re in, the next day you’re out.”

Though it is a better photo of her ring finger, that is not a better photo of Katie Holmes! She looks pretty rough. I can’t imagine going through a huge public divorce and child custody battle like this – much less without worrying about whether or not the Chruch of Scientology is spying on you!
