As we previously posted, Friday Night Lights alum Adrianne Palicki has been cast for the reboot of Wonder Woman. It’s a massive role to land and a scary proposition to take on one of the most popular characters in TV history. Add into that the huge sexy shadow that the original Wonder Woman Lynda Carter casts over the legacy and you’ve got quite a challenge.
Even though Adrianne is an established actress the role of Wonder Woman, good or bad, is going to cast Palicki into another stratosphere of celebrity superstardom. One of the rights of passage for this level of celebrification is the inevitable emergence of all her old yearbook photos from days gone by. Back in the day her friends knew her as Annie and it seems she might already have been a Wonder Woman. She was Home Coming Queen runner-up as well as being voted Miss USA, Best Smile and most likely to succeed in show business, with staff remembering her fondly as very popular, talented and friendly. Other pictures featured below and above show an adorable little Annie around the ages of 4 and 5, posted in an advert in the yearbook taken out by her parents as a tribute to her achievements.
