Radar Online is reporting that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong has been dating one of her attorneys, 54-year-old John Bluher, for about two months. Bluher, who is married with three children, has been helping Taylor (pro bono according to Radar Online’s source) in her lawsuit with MyMedicalRecords.com and has been with Taylor on her current book tour.
“John traveled with Taylor while she was doing her book tour and the two of them hit it off, in more ways than one,” says the source.
The two were photographed leaving Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood together on January 12. Here’s a not so great photo of John Bluher behind the wheel as Taylor got in the backseat with her head covered (The nice photos of them together were a bit pricey):
A separate source tells the site that John and his wife, Stephanie Bluher, are still married but their relationship is on the rocks. “It’s a bit of a complicated situation. John is still technically married, even though he no longer lives with his wife in Colorado and spends the majority of his time with Taylor in Southern California now,” the source said.
Radar online talked with Stephanie, who seemed a bit put out by the story, telling the site, “I don’t have anything to say to you. You can take it up with my husband.”
Stephanie had a different song to sing to RumorFix.com when they contacted her to comment on the story.
“It’s completely not true,” says Stephanie Bluher. “My husband and I have been married since 1979 and have three children,” she says. “He travels everywhere with the work he does. He is a very hard working man and not Hollywood at all. He has one home right here in Colorado and that’s it.”
Stephanie goes on to clarify that her husband isn’t working pro bono and that Taylor is a close friend of the family. “I adore her,” says Stephanie. “She is a wonderful woman. She’s been through an awful lot. It was through a mutual friend that we met her, she needed help and John has been trying to help her. She even acknowledges John’s help in her book. I think her book will do so much to help women, it’s a book of hope. This horrible gossip is the last thing she needs right now.”
That seems to jibe with a statement given to Radar Online by John Bluher himself, adamantly denying the dating rumor:
“There is no affair nor has there been one. Taylor would not have said it to anyone because it hasn’t occurred. Neither she nor I have any relationship other than my working as her legal counsel.
“I did not travel with her on the book tour. I was in New York on business and was invited to have dinner with her and a group of her friends and her manager Robert Thorne, who had to cancel at the last minute, while she was there.
“I do not spend most of my time in Southern California. I spend very little time in California. This is further evidence of libel and unsubstantiated falsehoods. Your sources are making things up in an attempt to damage my reputation and to damage Taylor.
“Taylor is focused on healing and organizing her life with Kennedy. She wants to help people in abusive relationships. I am working to close the legal issues created by Russell’s death and help Taylor form her new business entities.
“I manage and coordinate all the litigation, non-entertainment legal work for businesses and for her new foundation. I am a member in her companies and a director in her Foundation. Primarily for purposes of being able to sign documents and organize activities while she is away on business, on vacation or just plain busy.”
I think I’m going to side with Mr. and Mrs. Bluher on this one – the whole thing seemed a bit contrived. Although, he does seem to have an affinity for trout lips:
