Who is Outsourced star Pippa Black?
NBC took a swing for the fences with their new show Outsourced by giving it the coveted time slot directly after the smash hit The Office. I checked out the premiere last night and saw a rough around the edges show with a huge upside. The show is centered around the fate of a call center manager who is forced to relocate to India when the novelties company he works for outsources all its jobs overseas.
There were some really funny moments peppered with some regretfully poor delivery but one thing that certainly jumped off the camera was the main character’s possible love interest performed by Pippa Black. Black plays Tonya, an Australian call center manager for Qantas. I was not familiar with Black but I certainly am now let me tell you.
After doing a little checking here is what I found out about the young lady who is going to start getting quite a bit of press.
Pippa is a 27 -year-old actress from Australia with a history in Australian based television programming. Her most notable role was as Elle Robinson in a popular soap from the land down under called Neighbours. She has a resemblance to Nicole Kidman that is pretty undeniable so she better get used to those comparisons. Personally she is an avid animal rights activist having worked as a vet nurse as well as shooting a pic for PETA in which she donned an outfit made entirely of lettuce leaves. That would be much more animal friendly than Gaga’s meat dress!
Here are a couple of videos of Pippa doing her thing on Neighbours. In this first clip she proves that an argument is not about a dress by taking it off!
And this second clip finds Pippa discussing the heartache of cheating with a shirtless hunk while they lounge poolside at a beautiful home. You’ve got to love soaps.
If you missed Pippa and the premiere of Outsourced you can check it out at NBC via the show’s official page here. Let’s take a look at a few additional photos of the lovely lady from Australia who will not be an unknown quantity in the U.S. for long.
