What’s on the Wahlburgers menu?
A&E viewers got a taste of Wahlburgers and they liked it so much that the network’s already ordered an additional 18 episodes!
“Viewers are responding to the heartwarming dynamics of Boston’s first family as they balance living in the Hollywood spotlight and growing a business,” said David McKillop, General Manager and Executive Vice President of A&E, in a press release. “We look forward to seeing what the Wahlbergs cook up next.”
The show’s success makes sense: Mark Wahlberg’s an acclaimed actor. Donnie Wahlberg’s a former teen heartthrob. And brother Paul Wahlberg cooks up some of the best-lookin’ burgers around.

Although watching the guys and their burgers from the comfort of your own home is undeniably entertaining, the best way to get a genuine Wahlburgers experience is by visiting its flagship Hingham location. And something tells me there will be a long waiting list when tourists flock back to Boston next summer. (Canadian fans can look forward to the second Wahlburgers opening in Toronto in Summer 2014!)
If you’re one of those planning a pilgrimage to the Boston burger paradise, start considering the extensive Wahlburger menu now… It will likely take a while to make up your mind!
“You can walk in an choose from four different types of burgers, including a 100 percent all-natural, a salmon burger with Asian spices, a turkey burger and a veggie burger,” Paul told Local Luxe in 2011.
The burgers were also designed to represent the brothers’ unique tastes. For Paul, it’s a burger that’s topped with “tons of stuff.” For Donnie, it’s a burger with lean meat. For Mark, it’s a burger that reflects his “West Coast influence.”
One of the more intriguing options is the Thanksgiving Burger, which features seasoned turkey, stuffing, Paul’s orange-cranberry sauce, roasted butternut squash and mayonnaise.
If burgers aren’t your thing, the Wahlburgers menu also includes salads, sandwiches, vegetarian alternatives, hotdogs and Mom’s Macaroni — which is a tribute to matriarch Alma Wahlberg.
And, because a place run by the Wahlberg brothers wouldn’t be complete without a spot to watch Sox games, there’s a fully stocked bar with adult frappes, local beers, wine and “Wahlcoctions.”
Most importantly, the burgers seem to be masterfully executed by chef Paul, who’s become a celebrity in his own right.
“Burgers came out perfect just how we ordered them… The biggest treat was that we got to see Paul coming out from the kitchen,” one diner wrote on Yelp of her January experience. Even though a few other reviewers had criticisms, Wahlburgers still has solid scores on Yelp and Google… Not to mention the 8.1 the A&E show boasts on IMDb!
New episodes of Wahlburgers return to A&E on Feb. 19 at 10:30/9:30c.
