WEDDING PHOTOS Duck Dynasty’s John Luke marries Mary Kate
West Monroe lived up to the famous song lyrics yesterday, when more than 800 folks showed up to spend their “Louisiana Saturday Night” celebrating the union of Duck Dynasty couple John Luke Robertson and Mary Kate McEacharn! John Luke and Mary Kate, both 19, got married on the Robertson’s family farm, and Willie Robertson officiated.
“I had an amazing time!” John Luke revealed to Us Weekly. “It was one of the best days of my life!” Mary Kate added. “It was everything I hoped it would be and more.”

According to wedding planner Bethany Sigrest of OAK, Mary Kate wanted it “real fun, real casual, and she wanted flowers to be a big central point of it all.”
John Luke’s cousin Reed Robertson shared this amazing photo on Instagram that includes Mary Kate in her wedding dress holding a bouquet of flowers:
“Last night, I had the pleasure to watch one of my best friends marry the woman of his dreams,” Reed captioned the picture. “I couldn’t be more happy for this amazing couple. Love you both.”
And here is a video of John Luke and Mary Kate enjoying their first dance together as husband and wife with Ben Rector singing “Forever Like That.”
Us Weekly shared some details about what other music was played at the ceremony and more:
An acoustic version of The Beatles’ “Here Comes the Sun” was played by a local band. Other songs included “Sweet Caroline,” “Amazing Grace,” and “Stand By Me.” Guests later noshed on grilled chicken skewers with vegetables, mini tacos and hamburgers, barbecue shrimp, and brisket sliders at the reception, wedding planner Erin Vowell tells Us. For dessert, attendees were treated to a six tier white cake adorned with flowers, and tasty cronuts instead of a typical groom’s cake.

In case you missed it, John Luke proposed to Mary Kate on his 19th birthday back in October. Both John Luke and Mary Kate will be heading off to attend college at Liberty University in the fall.
CONGRATULATIONS to the young couple! Of course there were tons of photos posted by family members both from the wedding and the events leading up to it, so we gathered together a bunch of them for you to scroll through here. I also dug up the ol’ Mel McDaniel song “Louisiana Saturday Night” to play while you check out the pictures:
