The United States soccer team needed a victory against Algeria to advance to the Sweet 16 of the 2010 World Cup and they got it in true Hollywood fashion with a goal by during extended play!

Team USA had multiple opportunities to score throughout the match, and had one goal reversed on yet another questionable call by the referees claiming a player was offside although replay showed he was at worst even with the defender. AMAZING!!!
The victory not only means the US advances to the “knockout round” but they won Group C, which included the team from England that the United States played to a draw in an earlier match.
