Are you having one of those days? If so I’ve found some sure fire pick-you-up in the form of a seriously cute little baby boy getting his groove on to Will Smith’s “Gettin’ Jiggy wit It.”
Ain’t much back story to this little bit of internet bliss. The uploader on YouTube simply wrote, “Barnold likes to get jiggy with it.” We’re hoping Barnold is a nickname but with a groove like this ain’t no name gonna hold him back anyways.
There are so many things I love about this clip. Our young rug-cutter first had to prepare his dance floor by flipping a diaper and what I think are some wipes on it. He’s lettin’ his caretakers know that he’s about to fire his di-di up while he’s firing up the sweet grooves. He then closes the door so that his brilliance would not blind the neighbors.
Now that these preliminary requirements are taken care of, the little-man with the jiggy plan cuts loose. He gets so overjoyed he lets out some serious screams and grunts. It’s like’s he’s saying, “I am so on it right now it’s just cray-cray!” Being a parent myself, seeing this clip reminds me of a thousand little moments that make it all worth while. Or in the words of Barnold:
Grrrarararaugghhhhaaaaaaaa! Egagagagagagahhhhaahahaahh!
