Teen Mom 2 filming held up because of Leah Calvert’s relationship and pill problems
The producers of Teen Mom 2 are officially in crisis mode because of Leah Calvert’s reported pill problem, according to the ever-reliable Ashley’s Reality Roundup.
Although filming for the sixth season of the MTV show is supposed to begin soon, The Ashley reports Leah and Jeremy Calvert haven’t returned their contracts. A source told her that isn’t likely to change for Jeremy because he doesn’t want any part in future seasons.
Without the contracts, MTV cannot film any of the drama that’s going on right now — including Jeremy’s claims that Leah cheated with Robbie Kidd, his plans to file for divorce and Leah’s pill problem. (The Ashley says reports about Leah’s addiction to pain medication are legitimate.)
Although the latest reports that Leah “can’t go a day without opiates” are concerning producers, The Ashley said no one from MTV actually has plans to get Leah into treatment — which is what they did with Amber Portwood and Jenelle Evans. There also aren’t plans for an MTV-ordained intervention, but The Ashley says some cast members are discussing confronting Leah on their own… We hope Leah gets any help she needs, regardless of whether cameras are rolling.
