Sean Lowe chooses Catherine Guidici on The Bachelor
After a long season of deliberation, The Bachelor star Sean Lowe finally chose his fiancee: Catherine Giudici. The 26-year-old graphic designer from Seattle, Washington accepted his proposal and the amazing Neil Lane diamond engagement ring in Thailand, in front of Sean’s family, who had flown in for the occasion. Before his proposal, host Chris Harrison handed Sean a note from Catherine. It was the final note in a series of romantic note exchanges between Sean and Catherine all season. The other The Bachelor finalist, the 24-year-old substitute teacher from Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Lindsay Yenter, looked visibly stunned and left in tears.
In a heartbreaking scene, Sean said to Lindsay, “I have to say goodbye to you, and it’s by far the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do because I know how incredible you are and I love you. That’s the hardest part I love you, you know I do. I’m sorry,” he told her. Lindsay said to Sean, “I honestly can’t imagine my life without you and that’s something I’m gonna have to figure out.”
On The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, Sean faced a heartbroken Lindsay, and revealed he knew he had to choose Catherine on their one-on-one date in Thailand. He said God told him Catherine was the one. When Catherine came out on stage, Sean told her, “You’re the love of my life. You’re everything I’ve always wanted and so much more. Each day since the show I think our love has only grown stronger. I just feel incredibly blessed to have her in my life now.”
Though Sean and Catherine are officially engaged, they haven’t yet chosen a date for their wedding, but promised that it will be televised.
