Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian might technically still be married, but, thanks to Khloe’s latest power move, it looks like they’ve never been farther apart. Lamar is reportedly pissed at his estranged wife, now that she’s moved him out of her house and into a rented mansion next door while he undergoes extensive physical and mental rehabilitation from last autumn’s drug overdose and seizures.
Why does living in a mansion incense Lamar so? Devotees of the ongoing Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian saga will recall that, last December, Khloe told her convalescing husband that he absolutely could not move in with her once he was ready to leave the hospital. Then, when Lamar was ready to leave, Khloe had him transferred to the best facility in the greater Los Angeles area…but did so in the middle of the night, and without telling Lamar’s family what she had planned. Following that move–and wave after wave of negative publicity that an allegedly “manipulative” Khloe endured–she pulled a 180 and said Lamar could move nback in with her, no questions asked.
In light of all that drama, then, it’s perhaps no surprise that the latest Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian update states that Lamar is pissed as hell–because Khloe’s apparently gone back on the word she already went back on, and kicked him out of her house without letting him know what she was doing. Several reputable outlets are reporting that Khloe took the liberty of moving Lamar in next door to her Calabasan mansion, because James Harden and Khloe Kardashian were ill at ease with Khloe’s husband living under the same roof as the reality TV star.
“James is happy about the arrangement,” said a knowledgeable source, “but Lamar is pissed. He didn’t want to move from underneath [Khloe’s] roof. He loved the type of around-the-clock care she gave him. He loved the little things about living with Khloe–smelling her fragrances, her cooking and watching television with her.”
It’s not clear if the source was asked how Khloe was able to conduct round-the-clock care and maintain a strict publicity schedule at the same time. However, “[Lamar] thought he was winning her back,” continued that source. “He felt like the marriage was on the mend. But now, he feels bad and thinks he’s losing Khloe.”
Apparently, Khloe justified the move by claiming that she had no idea how her current boyfriend would react. “James had no idea…that [the arrangement] included Lamar living with her in her house,” claimed the fellow. “He didn’t like the arrangement, and told Khloe he was in no way comfortable with it. Khloe thought about it…and made the move to boot Lamar from her house.”
The 31-year-old Kocktails with Khloe emcee has yet to offer an official response to the developing Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian situation.
