After a career of disappointing his fans not so legendary Mike Tomczak has let his wife down; by assaulting her. According to KDKA-TV out of Pittsburgh, where the Tomczak’s reside, Dawn Tomczak called the police after “Tom the So-So” lunged at her and stepped on her foot. According to authorities he did not hit her, just like he did not hit the hundreds of wide open receivers he played with as a Bear, Brown and Steeler.
Bell Acres Police Chief Brian Brown stated that Tomczak was charged with two counts of simple assault and later released on his own recognizance.

Mike and Kim were married on May 2nd, 2008 in Naples Florida. Mike played Quarterback at THE Ohio State University where he helped lead the Buckeyes to two Big Ten Championships. He was undrafted coming out of college, I wonder if old Mel Kiper Jr. got that one right? His career highlight probably came in an appearance during the Chicago Bears 1985 Superbowl Shuffle video where he pretended to play guitar.
