Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast and Season 5 premiere date
VH1 has made it official: Love & Hip Hop Season 5 will drop on Monday, March 28th! The network has also confirmed which members of the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast will return, and which have made their final appearances.
We’d already heard firsthand from several members of the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast about their plans for LHHA Season 5. Most notable among the returns are Stevie J and Joseline, both of whom will remain on the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast and star in their own spin-off, Stevie J and Joseline: Go Hollywood. K. Michelle, currently on VH1 in the second season of My Life, will also return.
Erica Dixon, a fixture on the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast for the duration of the show’s run, recently acknowledged that she’s giving up a life in front of the cameras, and won’t be back. Of her decision, Dixon said “People don’t understand—they just think it’s all this glitz and glamour because you’re on TV, but there’s so much that comes with it. It’s mentally draining and physically draining and people just don’t get that, you know?”
In addition, Margeaux Simms was fired from the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast after Season 4, and won’t be back for LHHA Season 5.
