LHHNY Season 7 premiere date and first spoilers: Tara’s alleged pregnancy, Cardi B’s abrupt departure, and more

LHHNY Season 6 Reunion Spoilers 2

The original Love & Hip Hop is back! VH1 has just announced the LHHNY Season 7 premiere date, and released the very first teaser trailer for the upcoming episodes. The show is set to return on Monday, November 21st, following Love & Hip Hop Hollywood‘s two-part reunion special on November 7 and 14. And, though the show is the longest-running of all VH1’s Love & Hip Hop franchises, that’s no reason to expect a drop-off in the drama department. Here’s the very first trailer:

And, according to the network itself, viewers should be ready for a handful of changes right off the bat. For one thing, the Creep Squad is either losing a member or breaking up for good, or, possibly, both. For another, Cardi B, Season 6’s breakout star, is now struggling to deal with being “legit famous.” And Marilynn is most definitely the object of at least one special someone’s not-so-secret desires.

Beyond that, we’ve reported over the past few months on a few more likely storylines for the LHHNY Season 7 premiere and beyond. Mendeecees Harris remains imprisoned on drug trafficking charges, but could see a serious reduction in his sentence if he keeps up his good behavior. Amina Buddafly is still living apart from Peter Gunz, and is planning a memoir that may or may not blow up their marriage for good. And Peter, for his part, appears to be making nice with several of his baby mamas–he’s been trying to bring them together and keep his children in each others’ lives.

That might be difficult, though, what with new reports that Tara Wallace could be pregnant again-and that the baby is allegedly Peter’s! And Cardi, for all her newfound fame, still says she’s probably going to be done with the show after Season 7.

Only three more weeks to go! Love & Hip Hop New York Season 7 drops Monday, November 21, at 8 PM, on VH1.
