Lex & Alana LeBlanc tease Listed Sisters Season 2, lend their names to Nashville causes
The cameras and good times are rolling for Listed Sisters Season 2! Lex and Alana LeBlanc recently confirmed that their HGTV hit is not only working on brand-new episodes, but the producers are also still looking for more participants! The news came as something of a surprise, given that Listed Sisters Season 2 casting had actually already begun last year–a fact we noted in our initial feature on the show. Whether or not that means the network has ordered even more episodes has yet to be determined, but both Lex and Alana certainly sounded enthusiastic in recent social media updates announcing the casting call:
If you live in the greater Nashville area and are intrigued by the possibility that reality TV fixer uppery presents, here’s the Listed Sisters Season 2 casting call.
The sisters also offered fans jonesing for more Listed Sisters footage a minor fix with a recent Facebook live update from the floor of the Salt Lake City home show, where hijinks ensued:
In the comments section for the video, the sisters were quick to respond to the many questions about the status of Listed Sisters Season 2. Yes, they confirmed, Season 2 is happening–in fact, they’re in the middle of filming new episodes right now.
Plus, while there isn’t yet an official premiere date for Listed Sisters Season 2, we can extrapolate from a few details and make an educated guess. For one thing, Season 1 debuted in the early spring of 2016, and HGTV tends to keep its flagship programs on something of a predictable rotation. For another, Fixer Upper Season 4 is currently scheduled to end around the same time this spring, and Lex and Alana proved to be a ratings boon last year; it’s likely that the network will want as seamless a transition as possible between one season ending and another beginning.
(It’s also worth pointing out that, given the current rumors about when exactly Flip or Flop will cease production, Listed Sisters could jump off its Monday perch, swoop in, and grab that show’s coveted Thursday night spot. Interesting times at HGTV!)
Finally, on an unrelated note, Lex and Alana have lent their names to a fundraiser for the Nashville Humane Association. The Crowdrise drive is intended to bring in money for the NHA’s ongoing efforts, and will culminate in “Unleashed Dinner With Your Dog”–which is exactly what it sounds like–on January 21st. If you’ve got a few spare dollars and would care to donate them, you can do so here.
Listed Sisters Season 2 will air in 2017 on HGTV.
