Lady Gaga forces her assistants to sleep with her?

The weekend details surfaced from Lady Gaga’s deposition in her ex-assistant Jennifer O’Neill’s lawsuit. Gaga called Jennifer a “hoodrat,” and essentially called her a slave. Gaga also complained that Jennifer used Gaga’s YSL discount, occasionally wore Gaga’s clothes, and always wanted to take the second bed in Gaga’s jet, even when Terry Richardson wanted it.

Now details from Jennifer’s side are coming out, and according to Jennifer, Gaga expected her to sleep in the bed with her! No wonder she had bed issues.

According to court docs obtained by Radar Online, Jennifer says she felt co-sleeping with Gaga was a requirement.

“I was by her side virtually 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That includes sleeping in the same bed with her. Because she did not sleep alone. I felt it was required. Unlike anybody else on that tour, I did not have my own hotel room. I was not asked if I wanted my own hotel room. I had no privacy, no chance to talk to any family, no chance to talk to any friends, no chance to have sex if I wanted to have sex. There was no chance to do anything.”

This isn’t the first time Gaga has “required” an employee to sleep in her bed. Angela Ciemny, the wife of one of Gaga’s ex-managers, was hired as Gaga’s traveling companion. Angela told Sundayworld.com that she quickly learned sleeping in Gaga’s bed every night was also required because Gaga couldn’t bear to ever be alone. Angela’s husband would travel with them and have his own room, but Gaga still insisted that Angela sleep with her instead of her husband.

I didn’t realise it when I accepted… but one of my responsibilities was not only to be with her when there wasn’t a man in her life, but also to sleep with her in bed because she couldn’t bear to spend the night without being able to reach out and touch someone. On tour, I would often say to her: ‘Gaga, I have a husband to be with. I’ll be in the very next room to yours with him.’ But within minutes either the hotel phone would ring or she’d be texting me. We would get ready for bed together every night, do our make-up together in the morning and even shower together to save prep time.

Jennifer is seeking damages of almost $400,000 for unpaid overtime, but Gaga refutes this because she says her employees work 9-5 jobs spread out throughout the day, and thus never work overtime.
