Kylie Jenner has yet another project on her full plate. The 17-year-old PacSun / Topshop clothes hawk and budding reality TV mogul is taking time out to visit a secluded Los Angeles recording studio with boyfriend Tyga. But she’s not there to support his musical endeavors: Kylie’s got her own dreams of music superstardom.
That’s right–Kylie Jenner is taking instruction from Tyga, as well as a host of other producers and songwriters, in an attempt at crafting an album of soulful, Kylie-styled jams. “Kylie wants to create a sound all of her own,” according to reports, “similar to what Iggy Azalea has done. She’s been working on chill hip hop music with Tyga and yes, he will be featured on her album.”
(A quick word of advice to Kylie Jenner: it is probably not the smartest thing to model your career after Iggy Azalea’s right now.)
Tyga, a different source proclaims, is Kylie Jenner’s “biggest fan.” And Kylie is willing to use Tyga for his expertise and insider knowledge of how the music industry works.
It’s probably also worth pointing out that, near the end of this season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kris Jenner raved about her daughter’s voice, saying that Kylie sounds “amazing” when she sings. Kylie brushed off the compliment–but, when Kris wants something for one of her children (or herself), she tends to get it. Even when what she wants is (apparently) to cut that child off financially from the age of fourteen.
