Though there’s been a great deal of speculation–especially on Kylie’s social media accounts–that the Kardashian family actually footed the bill for the fancy sports car, Tyga’s the one who gave it to her, so he’s getting the credit for it. For now. But the question remains: What else did Kylie Jenner get for her 18th birthday?
For starters, the Kardashian-Jenner clan threw the teenager a lavish party on Sunday night. In addition to all the major family players, Gigi Hadid, Joe Jonas, and Zayn Malik were among the other celebrity attendees. Just before the first official Kylie Jenner Birthday Party–the cost of which is uncertain–Kris Jenner kicked off the gift giving by presenting Kylie with the Birkin bag pictured above. Cost? Somewhere in the $11,000 to $15,000 range.
The custom cakes at the birthday party allegedly cost in the low three-figures–each–and that’s not even counting the dry-cleaning bill when you get a smear of red fondant across the front of your tank top. Plus, one other expense at the Kylie Jenner birthday soirée was a real-life performance from both Post Malone and Fetty Wrap, who laid down their hits “White Iverson” and “Trap Queen,” respectively. Appearance fees for the two will run you around $25,000, according to People.
(It’s been reported that Pia Mia and Rae Sremmurd also performed at the Kylie Jenner birthday party–as did boyfriend Tyga himself. No word yet on their appearance fees, though it seems likely that Tyga dropped beats pro bono.)
How about a private jet to whisk you away for some post-birthday relaxation? Kylie rented the plane in this post’s first photo for a minimum of $5,000 per hour. In fact, it looks like Kylie may have rented the Citation X, which is classified as a “Super Mid” jet, and will run you approximately $7,006 per hour, every hour, to stay in the air. Fuel isn’t cheap…which is a lesson Kylie is about to learn well thanks to her new car.
It’s also been reported that Kylie and Tyga whisked themselves away to Mexico to de-stress post-celebration. Kylie does have another big appearance to get ready for, as well: she’ll be receiving $200,000 to appear at her own official Canadian birthday party, at the Beachclub in Montreal. That party isn’t until the 16th, though, so there’s plenty of time for beach relaxation.
