It’s a double dose of Jenner news, as the rumors of the Kendall Jenner nipple piercing have been confirmed by none other than the supermodel herself. In addition, a new Kendall Jenner interview in Women’s Wear Daily sheds light on how much Kendall knew about Caitlyn’s desires for a transition–and when she knew those things.
First off: yes, it is true; the Kendall Jenner nipple piercing speculation and the many Kendall Jenner nipple piercing sightings have been confirmed. Kendall herself said as much this weekend, when asked by Page Six on the rest carpet before the launch of Modern Muse la Rouge, her new Estée Lauder fragrance. What, exactly, did she say about a Kendall Jenner nipple piercing? “Yes,” was Kendall’s reply.
I was going through a period in my life, having a rough time, being a rebel and was like ‘Let’s just do it.’ [I was] so terrified, I’m laying on the bed like ‘Why am I doing this.’ Honestly, it hurt, but wasn’t as bad as everyone made it seem and maybe because everyone hyped it up and I thought it would be really, really bad. Then it wasn’t as bad as I expected.
The Kendall Jenner nipple piercing wasn’t the only topic on the 19-year-old’s mind that night, though. She also addressed the nationwide thigh gap issue, and made it clear that she’s firmly on the side of those who don’t understand why the gap is such a prized commodity–in both modeling and the world at large.
“I wish people would stop worrying about thigh gaps,” said Kendall. “Seriously, I think it’s so pointless. I don’t even know why that was a thing. You’re hurting yourself by even worrying about it. It’s just awful.”
In related news, the teenager’s newest interview eschews the topic of the Kendall Jenner nipple piercing entirely, and instead touches on the where-and-when specifics regarding Caitlyn Jenner’s transition. Kendall acknowledged that there had been rumors about her father for quite awhile, and implied that she could understand why: after all, to hear Kendall tell it, she’d known about Bruce’s intentions for years.
“I’ve known since I was a kid,” said Kendall, before continuing:
He never confirmed it to me, but I’ve known for a very long time. It’s the same person. My dad says it herself sometimes, it’s kind of like mourning the loss of someone, because it is. My dad is my dad, but he’s not there physically anymore. But she lets me call her dad—that’s the last little piece of dad I’ve got.
