The star of NBC’s Winter Olympics coverage, Johnny Weir, has separated from his husband.
The former Olympic figure skater made the announcement via Twitter yesterday. “It is with great sadness that I announce that my husband and I are no longer together. My heart hurts and I wish him well,” he wrote.
Johnny and attorney Victor Voronov wed in a 2011 civil ceremony in New York.
Earlier this month it was revealed that the two appeared in a New Jersey court as Weir faced charges of biting Voronov during a domestic dispute. The couple had the judge dismiss the case.
