Just as I was working on a post explaining what Teen Mom 2 Leah Messer’s boyfriend Jason Jordan does for a living that requires him to wear scrubs, it was confirmed that he and Leah have broken up — and the break up was not mutual.
It was rumored that the couple might have called it quits after Leah made some suspicious posts on Instagram — including an announcement that she was doing some house cleaning that would include the deletion of “a lot of pics.” She even stopped following Jason’s account.
I checked earlier today, and Leah still had numerous photos with Jason on her page, so I thought that perhaps her housecleaning was because of something else.
Nope.
The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reports that the couple actually broke up a couple weeks ago. “They split because he had become even more controlling of Leah and she realized it for herself,” The Ashley’s source says. “He was very jealous and was basically trying to run her life.”
The Ashley says that Leah’s life coach and manager Lindsay Rielly has not been a fan of Jason for some time, and it was actually Lindsay’s input that reportedly caused Leah and Jason’s split back in October.
According to The Ashley’s source, Lindsay “basically told her that Jason was no good and that she needed to dump him, so Leah did.” The source says Lindsay believed that Jason was too controlling.
Despite her manager’s concerns, Leah soon had second thoughts about the split and reconciled with Jason.
The multiple break ups would certainly seem to explain Leah’s most recent Instagram post, which was this quote from Maya Angelou: “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”
The Ashley also reports that Jason is not happy about the break up and “has been actively trying to get Leah back since then.”
Unfortunately for Jason, the fact that he sounds a lot like actor Eric Bana and wears scrubs had a lot of fans comparing him to the villain in Bravo’s series Dirty John. These reports of him being controlling, etc. will certainly add fuel to those comparison fires.
As we stated when we reported on the couple’s previous break up, it is unfortunate that the relationship didn’t work out. But, Leah seems to really have gotten her life on track, and hopefully she will keep moving forward and maintain her positive outlook as she continues “living her standard.”

Everyone comes into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime. I’m thankful for everyone I’ve journeyed with and continue to learn and grow. When we can live in the present with appreciation there’s no room for judgement. Some things are just not meant to be and that’s ok.
