The extremely volatile and often violent relationship between Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and his ex (and mother of his infant daughter) Jen Harley continues as Jen has been arrested and charged with domestic violence in Nevada after allegedly dragging Ronnie with her car with their almost 3-month-old daughter Ariana present.
The alleged incident went down late Sunday in Las Vegas, where Ronnie and the rest of his Jersey Shore co-stars are currently filming Season 2 of the popular reality show reboot for MTV. According to TMZ the two were returning from a barbecue with their daughter Ariana when the inevitable argument ensued.
“Sources close to the exes tell us Jen hit Ronnie in the face during the argument, and he demanded she pull over and let him out of the car,” the site reports. “We’re told Ronnie got caught in his seatbelt, but Jen took off anyway … dragging Ronnie.” The site says the incident was not caught on film for the show as MTV was not shooting on Sunday.
The Blast shares some additional details:
At one point, our sources say the car hit something that popped a tire and as they were pulling over, Ronnie began to get out of the car to get away from Harley. But we’re told Harley “took off” and began to drag Ronnie as he attempted to exit the vehicle.
Ronnie reportedly suffered bruising, scrapes, and a very nasty bit of road rash from the incident.
According to jail records, Jen was booked in the Clark County Detention Center and is currently being held on $3,000 bond. Her next scheduled court date is set for Tuesday morning.
UPDATE – We now have Jen Harley’s mug shot photo as well as some more information about the incident from the witness who first called police.
Jen’s arrest is just the latest in a string of violent altercations with Ronnie since their daughter was born on April 2. Here is a brief timeline of some of the events over the last few months:
