Teen Mom 2‘s Jeremy Calvert and Corey Simms are reportedly bonding over some very specific common ground.
According to multiple sources who spoke with The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Leah Calvert’s soon-to-be ex-husbands came to a detente after Corey told Jeremy he saw Leah with Robbie Kidd — the same ex-boyfriend Leah had an affair with during her relationship with Corey. What’s more, Jeremy has reportedly started working with the same lawyer Corey is using in his custody battle.
“Jeremy and Corey have met up and both really want to make sure the twins and Addy stay in each other’s lives, regardless of what happens in the custody hearing,” a source said.
Others, including Jeremy’s mom, have indicated he plans to get custody of the daughter he shares with Leah.
“She keeps falling asleep all the time — pals are worried she’s doing that when she’s supposed to be watching the kids,” a source told Life & Style. “They think she’s on more than just anti-anxiety medication. She could lose everything if she doesn’t shape up.”
After the drama erupted earlier this month, Leah denied cheating on Jeremy and expressed her love for him on social media. This D- lister got a nice double payout this week. One check from a tabloid and one from the B+ list reality star on a long running MTV franchise who gave him some money for taking her side in a rumor. Probably going to be a week long bender for him with that kind of money.
For now, Leah is reportedly still living in a modular home on Jeremy’s parents’ property — even though her mom claimed Jeremy’s dad was the one who made up the cheating rumors in the first place because he doesn’t like Leah.
“She feels totally trapped, with her in-laws’ house only a few feet away,” another insider told Life & Style. “She feels like her every move is being watched.”
Leah’s grandmother fueled the paranoia with a public post directed to Leah on Facebook: “They will have private detectives looking at everything you do. I wonder if they have a nite cam too see if your having sex with Jeremy so they can make some money… Look out they want your kids an could give a rats a** about you.”
Meanwhile, Jeremy is supposedly keeping busy with work and trying to get his documents in order before filing for divorce.
