Jenelle Eason’s brother Colin Evans says father sexually abused him for 5 years

Jenelle Eason's brother Colin Evans Facebook post about sexual abuse

On the most recent season of Teen Mom 2, fans were introduced to Jenelle Eason’s brother Colin Evans for the first time after he had moved back in with his mother Barbara and nephew Jace. The scenes were a bit awkward, to say the least, and had many viewers openly wondering if Colin had some sort of condition. Barbara would later confirm that Colin is on disability during the “Unseen Moments” special, and in a recent Facebook post, Colin says that he suffers from post traumatic stress disorder stemming from years of sexual abuse at the hands of his father.

The allegations were part of an angry post in which Colin was expressing his frustration at sister Jenelle. Here is the full post:

She lies more than Donald trump (Jenelle Evans ) my entire house was not burnt down to the ground at all keep on all the lies and for ur info lil sis I’m not developmentally challenged stop lieing for ur fame I’m PTSD from our father sexual abused me for 5 years and beat me and starved me and i almost died in prison and all u care about is your money (jenelle Evans) lil sis and u never say hi u don’t care about any one but your self so keep up the lies lil sis

Colin is referencing claims made by Jenelle in her book, Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom. Jenelle stated in the book that Colin was “developmentally challenged” and she recalled a time when nine-year-old Colin set his toy car on fire in his upstairs bedroom before freaking out and then tossing the car on the bed. Jenelle says Colin came running downstairs, but it was too late to stop the spread of flames and the family had to evacuate.

Soon after that incident, Colin was sent away to a group home in Texas for nearly two years. Barbara Evans spoke with People about Colin in July of last year, and she says that he was in and out of mental health facilities since he was 6 years old. “I had to do what I had to do because he could not live in that house, he was dangerous,” Barbara said of sending Colin away for help. “He burnt my house down when he was 10. We’d only been living in the residence for six months. Six months and he burnt the house down.”

Barbara iterated that the fire ““wasn’t intentional — it was an accident. But still, it was a tough life. Tough life,” she said.

In addition to his written post, Colin also included a photo of a house that I assume is the family home where the fire occurred. I also assume the photo is evidence to back up his argument that the “entire house was not burnt down to the ground:”

Jenelle Eason and brother Colin Evans' childhood home?

In addition to being in and out of mental health facilities when he was young, Colin has been in and out of jail as an adult. Online records indicate Colin has accumulated numerous charges over the past decade, including larceny, marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, injury to personal property, and communicating threats. It appears as though Colin has been blessed with his sister’s legal luck (or perhaps his sister’s attorney Dustin Sullivan?) because most — if not all — of the charges appear to have since been dismissed.

On a personal note, according to his Facebook page, Colin has been in numerous relationships over the past few months — and he seems to take each and every one very seriously. After entering into his most recent relationship, he posted a Facebook Live video in which he announced his plans to quit marijuana, quit beer, and get baptized. “Today, after the love of my life comes over and sees me, I am going to the church up the road and getting baptized,” Colin announced.

“I’m getting baptized because I’m tired of getting led down the wrong path,” he continued. “I want to have a new life — live life. Hopefully Jesus can get me a job — help me support me, my new life with my new girl I love the most. And even though I don’t have a family, Jesus is my family, my father, and I love Him. And I want Him to know that I am so happy that I found a girl I actually love that loves me more than anybody else loved me in my life — that doesn’t use me, that loves me for who I am.”

Colin continued to express his excitement over being baptized before asking if anyone in the area is hiring. “I’m looking for cash under the table,” he clarified.

So what about getting a paycheck (or cash under the table) from MTV? “I’m staying off MTV,” Colin revealed.

Things went a little off the rails after that. “I need Jesus in my life, like everybody else does. I’m tired of the Illuminati hittin’ me up because I’m famous. I’m tired of the Satanists hittin’ me up because I’m famous, because I’m on TV. I’m tired of everybody hittin’ me up because I’m famous.”

Colin later stated that when he is with his new girlfriend that his PTSD-related issues like night terrors and flashbacks vanish. He then extended a peace offering to Jenelle!

“I want to put a shout out to Jenelle Evans, my sister, or Jenelle Eason. I would like her to get my number from somebody. Give me a call. I would like to start a family again. I never had a family in my life, since I’ve been 5. I just want a family to get along.”

Last week Colin updated his Facebook followers by sharing a “feeling heartbroken” status followed by two photos with a woman that I assume is the girlfriend mentioned repeatedly in his video. “I miss my Dora my love my Italian queen,” Colin captioned the pictures.
