Hackers threaten Iggy Azalea with sex tape leak

An offshoot of the hacker group Anonymous has issued a warning to Iggy Azalea, threatening to release her alleged sex tape unless she complies with the group’s demands.

“F*ck you, @IGGYAZZALEA. #ICantBreathe,” began the @TheAnonMessage’s Saturday Tweet. It continued thusly:

We have so much sh*t on you, your scandal would be bigger than Bill Cosby’s…You are guilty of misappropriating black culture, insulting peaceful protesters, and making light of Eric Garner’s death…You have exactly 48 hours…to release a statement apologizing to @AzealiaBanks and the protesters in NYC.

When Azalea denied that any such tape exists, the group promised to release photo stills to make good on its threat and confirm the tape’s authenticity.

Shortly after issuing the threat, the @TheAnonMessage Twitter account was suspended. However, using the backup account @TheAnonMessage2, the group promised to return shortly.

The threat relates back to the ongoing feud between Azalea and Azealia Banks, who’ve been attacking each other like mad since Banks accused Azalea of keeping too silent while protests raged over Garner and Michael Brown’s deaths. When Azalea told Banks she shouldn’t “judge another’s support or lack thereof solely on if they have ranted on twitter about it,” Banks went on the offensive.

In an interview with radio station Hot 97, she had the following words for her Australian adversary:

Here’s the thing with Iggy Azalea. I feel, in this country, whenever it comes to our things, like black issues or black politics or black music or whatever, there’s always this undercurrent of a ‘f*ck you.’ Like, ‘FIck y’all n*ggas, y’all don’t really own sh*t.’ … That Iggy Azalea sh*t is not better than any f*cking black girl that’s rapping today … I have a problem when you’re trying to say that it’s hip-hop and you’re trying to put it up against black culture.

To which Azalea promptly responded with a series of Tweets:

Banks has yet to retort.
