Greg Plitt, who was well known as a bodybuilder and model before hitting it big on Bravo’s hit show Workout and the upcoming Friends to Lovers, has died at the age of 37. Greg was fatally hit by a Metrolink train on Saturday in Burbank, California.

Authorities are reporting that the incident appears to be an accident and no foul play was involved.

“It does not appear to be a suicide,” Sgt. Scott Meadows told People. “A camera was seized as evidence, but it’s unclear who it belongs to — the victim or a witness. From the sound of it, he was filming something, but I can tell you that no filming permit had been issued.”

Sources at The Daily Mail are backing up the story that was Greg was in the process of filming when the horrendous accident occurred. According to friends, Greg, “stumbled over the tracks with a video camera in his hand… He was filming an ad for a protein shake.”
