According to several new reports, beleaguered-but-recovering Lamar Odom asked his doctors for stronger drugs–and then tried to sneak a known drug dealer into his hospital room when the doctors didn’t bring Lamar the goods. Depending on whether the latest Lamar odom drug dealer rumors are true, the former NBA star might have a lot of explaining to do: to Khloe Kardashian, his fans, and, most of all…to himself.
The Lamar Odom drug dealer rumors began when Odom apparently asked his doctors for stronger pain medication to help deal with the damage to his internal organs he suffered in October’s seizures. Specifically, Odom is said to have asked for Oxycontin–which is especially troubling to and difficult for his doctors to deal with, since they’re well aware of Odom’s past struggles with addiction.
Said one source close to the inner workings of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, “There are concerns because Lamar has been asking for copious amounts of pain medication, including Oxycontin….It’s a dilemma for the doctors because the pain has to be treated.”
The source continued: “With Lamar’s history of substance abuse, they are trying to give him other pain medications that aren’t as powerful. However, Lamar complains that it’s not strong enough.”
Then, trouble regarding the Lamar Odom drug dealer rumors flared up when Khloe left Odom’s bedside to support boyfriend James Harden during his NBA season opener in Houston. Reportedly, while she was gone, Odom called an old roommate of his–a man who’s also an alleged drug dealer–and told him to come up for a visit.
“Lamar that had called his drug dealer and old roommate, and told him to come to the hospital,” said a separate source. “The friend showed up and went directly to Lamar’s room in ICU. He knew exactly where to go!
“Luckily, security denied access,” added the source, “but not before he made it known he was angry that Khloe had changed the locks on Lamar’s loft in Los Angeles.”
And, when Khloe found out about the exchange, she was not amused…
“Khloe,” the source finished, “was just heartsick that Lamar called this low-life scumbag. Lamar tried to deny it, but Khloe has heard it all before…and she knew he was lying. Khloe decided to take Lamar’s cell phone and hasn’t been at the hospital for the past three days.”
Now, it seems that Khloe has taken the unprecedented step of ignoring Odom’s calls, and coming by the hospital only when doctors need her permission medically.
