Courtland Rogers’ ex Taylor Lewis questioned, her sister arrested in kidnapping case
The Brunswick County Police Department continues to work full-time playing Two Degrees of Jenelle Evans with the latest incident involving Courtland Rogers’ ex (and mother of his daughter Jordan), Taylor Lewis, and her sister Kristen Lewis (seen together in the photo above).
Taylor Lewis was brought in for questioning Wednesday morning about a series of kidnappings, robberies and assaults with intent to kill. A booking photo of Taylor surfaced online (below), leading many to believe she had been arrested in connection to the crimes. Taylor was released hours later and took to Facebook to defend herself. “Just wanted to let y’all know I didn’t get arrested,” she wrote early Tuesday afternoon. “I was getting held for information and I didn’t have the answers so they let me go! So Meagan can shut up! Stop starting drama! Childish ppl! Smh.”
Taylor’s sister Kristen Lewis was not so lucky. Kristen was arrested along with four others and charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury, carrying a concealed weapon, robbery with a dangerous weapon and kidnapping. Her bail is set at a whopping $350,000!
Also arrested along with Kristen (21) were Colin Bennett (24), Jacqueline Brown (26), Christopher Kelly (22) and Jonathan McLeod (21).

According to the police warrant obtained by Star News Online, the arrests stem from two separate incidents earlier this month in which Christopher Ford (on March 10) and David McKnight (on March 15) were kidnapped, assaulted, threatened with handguns and had money and property stolen from them. Both victims were seriously injured.
Kelly and Bennett were the only two alleged assailants in the March 10th kidnapping of Ford with Brown, McLeod and Lewis allegedly joining in on the March 15 kidnapping.
All five face charges of kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury and robbery with a dangerous weapon with Kelly and Bennett facing multiple counts of each.
In addition, there was reportedly and incident on March 8 in which Bennett allegedly choked Ashley in addition to taking her cell phone to prevent her from making a 911 call. Because of that, as well as a separate incident involving the theft of a television on March 18, Bennett is also charged with common law robbery, assault on a female, assault by strangulation, interference with emergency communication and possession of stolen property.
Oh, and Kristen Lewis was found to be in possession of brass knuckles on March 17, leading to a concealed weapons charge. To make matters worse, online records indicate Taylor was charged earlier today with possession of a controlled substance on jail premises.

Oh, and by the way, Courtland Rogers is still reportedly on the run from police because of a warrant issued for his arrest last month after he allegedly stole some jewelry from a female friend and pawned the pieces using his ID. (The Real Teen Mom Talk claims he has relapsed on drugs and has even spent some time in the hospital while “on the lam.”)
