Two weeks after Charlie Sheen ended this engagement to Brett Rossi so he could focus on his children, the porn star was found unresponsive at her home from an apparent overdose.
According to Radar Online, Brett was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and her stomach was pumped. She spent one night in the intensive care unit before she was transferred to regular care to continue her recovery. A source close to Brett said they don’t know substance caused the overdose, but added the timing isn’t coincidental.
“It’s been four or five weeks, but Brett is taking it very hard,” the source said of Brett. “She still has not gotten over the breakup.”
The Anger Management actor’s rep said Charlie reached out to Brett — who is sometimes known as Scottine Sheen — after her overdose.
“Charlie and Scotty have been in communication,” his rep told People. “Charlie still has a tremendous fondness for Scotty and continues to wish her all the best.”
The pair had a whirlwind romance after meeting last fall and were supposed to marry in a few weeks. Charlie said their breakup was mutual when announcing the split last month.
“She’s a terrific gal, but we’ve mutually decided to go our separate ways and to not spend the rest of our lives together,” he said. “I’ve decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now. I still have tremendous fondness for Scotty and I wish her all the best.”
