The #MeToo movement is hitting the literary world with multiple allegations against author Junot Diaz. These allegations coming to light have inspired author and poet Mary Karr to speak up about the abuse she suffered from late literary icon David Foster Wallace. According to Karr Wallace admitted the abuse and stalking he inflicted on her in letters that his biographer read. The biographer has mentioned in an interview that DFW once bought a gun in a murder plot against Mary Karr’s husband, and wrote about DFW pushing Karr out of a moving car and throwing a coffee table at her, but Karr, who briefly dated Wallace, says the abuse she suffered from DFW went much further than that.

Last month details emerged about a pretty horrendous sexual assault case settlement involving Southern Charm bad boy Thomas Ravenel, and now the reality show’s production team and the Bravo network are investigating the claims.

Olympic gold-medal gymnast McKayla Maroney sat down for a heartbreaking interview with Savannah Guthrie that will air Sunday night on Dateline. In the interview, Maroney reveals that she was molested by US Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar “hundreds of times.” Although Maroney won a gold medal, the trauma she went through makes her question whether her Olympic career was “worth it.”

Last month, right before the Oscars, a former employee of Ryan Seacrest spoke out alleging sexual misconduct on the part of the E! host. He went on to interview celebrities on the red carpet at the event and not much of a fuss was made. Several celebrities even spoke out in support of Seacrest. Now his accuser, Suzie Hardy, says she's brought the matter to the attention of the police and she refuses to stop talking about her story.

Monday longterm sexual abuse allegations towards Ryan Seacrest came to light. Suzie Hardy says she took the job because it offered good pay and a schedule that allowed her to pick up her child most days from preschool. Variety obtained a copy of a letter Hardy sent to E! November 2017 detailed alleged incidents of abuse. Today Ryan Seacrest has responded to the allegations multiple times and he denies them all. He even makes allegations of his own: Hardy has been trying to get him to “buy her silence.”
