Glee‘s Lea Michele was spotted out in public for the first time since the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith Tuesday chatting with a friend in the car. It’s kind of blurry in the photo we were able to obtain, but she was wearing a necklace that reads “Cory.” This isn’t a necklace she got after he died, Lea’s been wearing this necklace for a while.
Monday Lea tweeted gratitude to her fans for supporting her during this tough time.

31-year-old Cory Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room from a drug overdose July 13. It’s unimaginable what Lea must be going through, but her tweets seem to reveal that she’s opening up herself to the support of her friends and her fans.
Glee creators and Lea have decided to move forward with at least three more Glee episodes, including a special one dealing with Cory’s character Finn’s death.
