In memory of what would have been late actor Cory Monteith’s 32nd birthday, Lea Michele posted a moving black and white photo of the two together with a brief message on Twitter.
The Glee co-stars dated on and off-screen with Michele having called Monteith her “true love.”
In the tweet posted yesterday she wrote, “The biggest heart and most beautiful smile.. In all of our hearts.. We love you so. Happy Birthday.”
Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room in July after overdosing on heroin and alcohol.
In the April issue of Seventeen Michele said, “He was not his addiction – unfortunately, it won. But that wasn’t who he was. Cory made me feel like a queen every day. From the minute he said ‘I’m your boyfriend,’ I loved every day, and I thank him for being the best boyfriend and making me feel so beautiful.”
