An Indiana judge awarded Gary Shirley full custody of his and Teen Mom Amber Portwood’s daughter Leah earlier today. According to TMZ the ruling wasn’t based on Amber’s inability to be a fit mother but instead on the unsafe living conditions at Amber’s home after the recent incidents of vandalism to her house and car.
Child Protective Services recommended that Leah live with Gary for now and the judge agreed, but the decision will be revisited once the conditions at Amber’s home have been deemed safe.
Amber reportedly will have visitation rights, but CPS has yet to set up a schedule.
