Bravo has another potential wedding special on its hands! Shahs of Sunset‘s Reza Farahan just revealed he proposed to longtime boyfriend Adam Neely last August.
“I finally met the love of my life,” Reza told Bravo of his decision to pop the question. He added, “My a** isn’t getting any younger.”
Reza and Adam began dating in 2010 after meeting at a gym. They recently moved into a new condo together and Reza said they are happier than ever.
“We’re a family… A family of two, but a family nonetheless.”
Adam certainly seems like a catch, too! According to Reality Tea, Adam works with 20th Century Fox as an editor for Glee and American Horror Story. He also happens to be a former model who did runway work for Hugo Boss and Ralph Lauren.
So, why did Reza and Adam keep the big news a secret for more than five months?
“I didn’t want to hear anything negative around such a joyous event,” he said of the reactions he expected from his opinionated family. He finally caved and told them last week. “The first thing my mom asked was, ‘It won’t be on TV, will it?’ And that’s why I had waited.”
Unfortunately for Reza’s mom (but fortunately for the rest of us), Reza told Life & Style that he proposed during his own birthday celebration with cameras rolling. It will air during the season finale of Shahs of Sunset next Tuesday.
With their engagement now out in the open, the next step is planning the wedding.
“It will definitely be a small and intimate affaire. Most likely somewhere exotic.”
