The Real Housewives of Atlanta added a professional singer to their cast this season, but it was veteran “housewife” Kim Zolciak who scored a top ten hit with the instant dance classic “Tardy for the Party.” To give credit where credit is due, Kandi Burruss (Xscape member, solo artist and writer) and her producer actually made the recording listenable – as you will be able to tell from Kim’s live performance:
Wow! It takes real talent to talk out of key! But, I would certainly fail a lie detector test if I tried to claim the performance wasn’t entertaining! Kim’s singing along terribly to her own autotuned vocals, the backup dancers, Kim’s stilted stage moves and the reactions of the other Housewives had me literally laughing out loud! I honestly can’t say that I would be ably to keep my money in my pocket if Kim announced a concert within driving distance – it would be like going to a karaoke bar without all the unpleasant semi-talented people.

Kandi also performed her single “I Fly Above” and dedicated it to her former fiance A.J. Jewell Burnett, who tragically passed away a few weeks ago after a fight at a nightclub in Atlanta. You can see that video below:
