31-year-old actress Natalie Portman became Tyingtheknotalie Portman after exchanging vows with 35-year-old Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied in a Jewish ceremony held at a private residence near Big Sur, California Saturday night. According to Us Weekly, “The 8pm wedding took place beneath a chuppah–and in the dark! No other details were immediately available.”
Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied have a 14-month-old son named Aleph together, and met on the set of 2010’s Black Swan, which won Natalie an Oscar Award for Best Actress. Natalie, pregnant with Aleph at the time, credited Benjamin in her acceptance speech with giving her “the most important role of [her] life.”
Congrats to Natalie and Benjamin! (Though my inner fanboy is weeping.)
