If you have a crush on Anna Kendrick, you’ll die at these photos of the Up in the Air and Pitch Perfect (okay, okay and Twilight) star filming a wedding scene for a new movie.
The 27-year-old actress and her 28-year-old co-star Jeremy Jordan (from Broadway and Smash) filmed the romantic scene in Central Park for the upcoming musical film The Last 5 Years.
The movie is based on a play of the same name written by Jason Robert Brown. Although the characters have different names, the story is inspired by his relationship with Theresa O’Neill, who threatened legal action because the film too closely resembled their real relationship.
The structure of the musical itself is interesting, the male character, Jamie Wellerstein, is a novelist and his story is told in chronological order after he first meets Cathy Hyatt, a struggling actress. In a twist her story is told in reverse chronological order, with the two stories lining up only on their wedding day.
