Bachelorette 9’s Desiree Hartsock wed Chris Siegfried over the weekend.
The couple made things official with a ceremony on Sunday at a church in Palos Verdes, California. The “I dos” come less than two years after Siegfried proposed to Hartsock on the popular ABC show.
An insider told E!:
“They were so excited to get married. They didn’t want to wait another day. When Chris first saw Des walking down the aisle he was amazed at how beautiful she was. The ceremony was very emotional and sweet. They kept it very short and they walked out holding hands and kissing.”
Fans of both The Bachelorette and The Bachelor know that the success rate for long-term love ain’t too good after the cameras are gone but Hartsock didn’t seem phased by all of that in a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest:
“I just think when you know, you know. And I know Chris and I are going to last and I know we’re going to get married and have a future. I feel our relationship started very naturally, and to be honest, we are each other’s best friends. I truly believe, regardless of the show, or if we met at a coffee shop, we’d still be together.”
