Amanda Bynes mug shot photo, plus courtroom photo and videos
Amanda Bynes was in court earlier today to face charges of marijuana possession, evidence tampering and reckless endangerment after she was arrested in her New York City apartment building last night. Amanda, wearing sweat pants, a black sweatshirt, and a rather disheveled long platinum blonde wig, was mobbed by the paparazzi outside the courtroom as she was escorted by uniformed officers, one of which was holding a plainly visible “Prisoner Movement Slip” that included Amanda Bynes’ mug shot photo (above).
Here is a photo of Amanda being escorted by the officer holding the paperwork and a zoomed-in shot of the “Prisoner Movement Slip” followed by a video from TMZ:
After Amanda made it into the courtroom she told the judge that the bong she allegedly threw out of her 36th floor apartment window with police present was “just a vase.” Her attorney also says that the bong (or the vase) was not recovered by police and that Amanda has filed a complaint alleging the officer entered her apartment illegally. The prosecution asked that Amanda be held on $1,000 bail, but the judge let the troubled 27-year-old former child star go on her own recognizance, although he did issue a stern warning about what would happen if Amanda missed her July court date — which was essentially that an arrest warrant would be issued.

And a photo:
After her court appearance, a police officer escorted Amanda out of the courthouse and she hopped into a taxi (by herself) and left.

So she is back on the streets of New York City, free to continue being Amanda Bynes until her court date in July or until she gets arrested again.
For dedicated Bynesologists (like myself) you might be interested to know TMZ was able to get the criminal complaint from the incident last night, which verifies NBC New York’s account that police were called after Amanda was seen smoking what was believed to be marijuana in the lobby of her apartment building. She had returned to her apartment on the 36th floor by the time a uniformed officer arrived on the scene.
The officer arrived at Amanda’s room and when she opened the door he saw a bong on the kitchen counter. From TMZ:
According to the report, the cop — wearing a “full police uniform” — asked Amanda about the bong … and that’s when the actress flipped out.
Here’s the cop’s narrative — “I observed [Amanda] grab said bong, run to the westbound-facing window, and throw it out the window where numerous pedestrians were walking on the 8 Avenue and West 47 Street sidewalks below.”
