A&E announces new docuseries, Crazy Hearts: Nashville
Yeehaw! A&E announced the production of Crazy Hearts: Nashville, a new docuseries based on the lives of aspiring country musicians who are “trying to hit it big, fall in love and live to sing about it.”
Considering the show will likely draw a target audience similar to A&E’s record-breaking Duck Dynasty, we’d be shocked if Crazy Hearts isn’t a total hit!

NEW YORK, NY – September 4, 2013 – A&E Network has ordered the new real-life series “Crazy Hearts: Nashville”, it was announced today by David McKillop, Executive Vice President and General Manager, A&E Network. The series will follow the lives of aspiring country music artists and insiders as they balance life, love and their pursuit of stardom, one gig at a time. Production begins immediately on eight one-hour episodes set in Nashville, TN.
“Crazy Hearts: Nashville” goes backstage into the lives and lyrics of several up-and-coming musicians trying to hit it big, fall in love and live to sing about it. Relationships mean everything in Nashville, and there is no shortage of love triangles in this town. Fiery relationships and stiff competition among these rowdy songbirds cause rivalry both on-stage and off. These passionate singers raid the Nashville social scene every night partying and singing the blues while waiting for their big break. Experience the music, struggle, romance and drama that fuel this iconic city.
