Less than a week after 90 Day Fiance star Ashley Martson was forced to share the horrifying story of her rape and kidnapping when she was 19 because her former friend Natalie was allegedly trying to sell the story to the tabloids, Ashley says Natalie has forced her hand once again. This time, Ashley felt forced to reveal that she was abused by a former fiance, and that she is currently unable to have children of her own after undergoing a hysterectomy at the age of 26, after messages and social media posts by Natalie.
Ashley posted a photo of herself with a massive black eye on Instagram, which looks to have been sent to her via text message by Natalie. Ashley claims Natalie has kept the picture all these years even though Ashley had long since deleted it.
Here is the photo, which includes the preceding message: “you’re better then [sic] this.”
“Since I cut Natalie out of my life she has been messaging me non stop!” Ashley began her caption for the image. “The last message I received was what I posted. It’s a photo of me after my ex fiancé beat me up badly. I left him and pressed charges. I got a PFA against him and he spent time in Jail.”
Ashley mentions on the show that she was engaged twice before, and she says that she was cheated on both times. But, that was apparently not the case with this relationship. “He never cheated on me,” Ashley reveals. “I said that because this is something that is very personal.”
Ashley then refocuses her frustration on Natalie. “She literally saved this photo from years ago, a photo I don’t even have anymore. I’m posting this because Natalie is literally posting every detail of my sh*tty past. I know this is coming next.”
Next, Ashley reveals that Natalie had already posted online about her very personal medical history. “Also, Natalie just announced to the world that I had a hysterectomy and Jay is going to leave me because I cannot give him children.” Ashley confirms that she had the procedure and explains why. “Due to cancerous cells I was forced to undergo a hysterectomy at age 26.”
In regards to having children, Ashley says she and Jay still have options. “We can use a surrogate if finances are there in the future,” she points out, before admitting: “The possibility of us not having our own biological child is there.”
Ashley concludes her post by unleashing on Natalie:
Thank you for sharing the most personal and extremely sensitive details of my life. Natalie, your the worst person I ever met! I’ll pray for you because you truly need help. I remained silent when she leaked my kidnapping story, when she posted me and my friends without our consent. The same friends who I am indeed still friends with minus her. This is the last time I will mention her name or give her any ounce of attention. There it is everyone all my skeletons are out. Now can we just go back to the show! #survivor #domesticviolence #infertilitysucks
Hours later, Ashley deleted the photo and posted a thank you to her supporters in her Instagram story. “Thanks for all your support,” Ashley wrote, along with a heart emoji. “It helped me get through this trying time in my life.”
So why delete the picture and her caption? “I have decided to remove the post because honestly seeing that photo of myself just brings back a dark time in my life I don’t want to relive,” she explains, “and is giving a nobody way to [sic] much attention. Thanks again to everyone!”
This all sounds like a horrible experience for Natalie, and hopefully she is correct in assuming there is nothing left for Natalie to expose. It’s still not known if either Ashley’s rape and kidnapping, or her hysterectomy and the resulting inability to have children, will be featured this season. The former I can understand not bringing up on the show, but Ashley’s inability to have children seems like such a hugely important issue for her and Jay to work through that I cannot imagine they wouldn’t address it in some manner.
