Just months after sexual assault allegations were brought against Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel, a new police report is now pointing the finger at Thomas’s bestie JD Madison.
According to FITSnews, a woman (whose name is being kept under wraps) filed a police report on August 25th against JD. In the report, she accuses him of sexual assault including allegations of rape and involuntary drugging.
The alleged incident happened a year ago on August 21, 2017 at the woman’s home. She hosted a small group of friends at her house including another unknown female, JD, and chiropractor Jay Schwartz. The woman claims JD slipped a drug into her drink without her knowledge before the group of friends left to go to a local bar.
In the police report, the victim says she began drifting in and out of consciousness and didn’t “feel right”. The report goes on to explain, “This is when she stated that she felt like she might have been drugged.”
After a night on the town, the woman woke up the next day to JD “forcibly raping and sodomizing her” and only stopped when he received a phone call from his wife, Elizabeth, who was also featured on Southern Charm.
It’s important to note that the other man involved, Jay Schwartz, was arrested for possession of drugs the same night as the allegations made against JD. The other woman involved was also taken to the hospital on the same night but for unknown reasons.
Mount Pleasant Police are continuing their investigation, and JD has not be charged with any wrong doing at this point.
Aside from these accusations, JD has spent the last year dealing with extensive legal troubles both at a local and federal level. FITSnews reports that “three new actions have been brought against him (or his incorporations) in the last month alone.”
In the midst of the legal turmoil, JD and his wife Elizabeth appeared on the most recent season of Southern Charm exposing the cracks in their marriage and revealing they were living apart. Fans were surprised to learn that the couple has since reconciled after Liz posted a picture with JD on her Instagram just two days ago.
