Are Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble engaged? All signs around the Momager might be pointing to a high-profile engagement any day now–especially since her son Rob Kardashian is inching closer to his late-summer nuptuals with baby mama Blac Chyna. Rumors about a Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble engagement have circled for months, but most recently involved the possibility that the couple were ready to call it quits because of a disagreement over money. According to that springtime report, Corey was “tired of being Mr. Kris Jenner” (which is a shame, since as long as he’s dating her that’s how he’ll be known) and felt he was worth a lot more than the $20,000 per month he earns for providing security, chauffeuring, and babysitting skills to the greater Kardashian family.
A new Wetpaint article, though, turns that notion on its head. Apparently, the new rumor is that Kris has decided “to take Corey Gamble off the payroll” in order to “test” his loyalty to and love for her. “Kris still has Corey on payroll as a family security team member,” said the insider quoted in the report, “but she is going to change that very soon.” The about-face from Kris Jenner, 60, supposedly has something to do with her unwillingness to make the ultimate commitment to Gamble, 35.
“As much as Kris would love to marry Corey, she is the one that is ultimately stalling on this,” the insider explained. “Corey is like Kris’s pet and she knows that he will do whatever she wants him to do when she wants him to do it.”
The Wetpaint report jives with the most recent Inquisitr dispatch on the topic. Their take claims that Kris and Corey are all set to marry, and further says that the pair might be planning a wedding in Capri–while the Keeping Up With The Kardashians cameras are rolling, of course.
Kris has “told family and friends that she doesn’t see herself being with anybody else,” the article says, and their insider reports that Kris and Corey “scouted a few wedding venues while” in Capri for a recent visit. “It’s always been Kris’ dream to have her wedding in Capri, so they looked at locations with a wedding planner.”
Kim Kardashian is said to be “pissed” about Kris’ decision, since “she got married in Italy, too.”
