LeAnn Rimes explains why she went to rehab

LeAnn Rimes shocked everyone when she entered a treatment facility last month. While there had been rumors floating around the web as to why she went, she insisted it was to deal with stress and anxiety. now that the 30-year-old singer has been released, she’s telling all in a new interview.

“I’ve been in therapy my whole life,” LeAnn explained to the Boston Herald. “I like going. I like being able to have that third-party input and someone to listen that has nothing to do with your life. Everyone has an opinion of how I am and how I should be, and now I’m focusing on how I want to be.”

Prior to entering rehab, LeAnn had been dealing with a few cyber-bullies and even threatened to sue at one point. The group of Twitter users, some of which refer to themselves as the Brandi Bunch, were responsible for regular “merciless and vitriolic” attacks on the singer which began when she started dating her now-husband Eddie Cibrian (who was Brandi Glanville’s then-husband).

“I think it’s really hard to deal with Twitter and Facebook and all these social media outlets,” LeAnn explains to the Boston Herald. “And it’s hard to take it day after day of reading and seeing things that someone you don’t even know says about you. As much as you said you don’t want it to penetrate, it does, because you’re human.”

Since marrying Eddie, things haven’t gotten better for LeAnn but now that she has completed treatment, she’s ready to face the music and address her public affair in a new track titled “What Have I Done?”

“I have felt like I’ve had a piece of tape over my mouth the last four years,” LeAnn states. “I wanted to start the next 30 years of my life on a great foot.”

Leann went to “rehab” to draw attention away from the fact she meets up with people from twitter who harassed Brandi Glanville for years and then calls up people that dislike her on twitter(like say…a teacher in northern california), puts the lady on speakerphone and proceeds to cuss her out while also calling the mother of her dear stepchildren “vindictive as fcking sh*t”. Whether or not the phone call recording is illegal, it showed Leann’s true personality and she needed a reason to play the victim FAST. so what does she do? runs off to “rehab” aka spa for a few weeks and cries “bully!”.

Leann Rimes isn’t fooling anybody. Fans of Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood won’t be flocking to Leann’s $5 county fair concerts anytime soon.

Lol Wow Terry, that was a little harsh! You act like you know Leann based off of a phone call that was recorded?? Maybe Brandi is vindictive (who cares if she called her that anyways)…you don’t know either of them and neither does anybody else on twitter, FB, ect. So it makes me laugh when people act like they personally know her, know her reasons for doing certain things and are judgmental as hell! I’m not even a big fan of Leann’s but some people get too wrapped up in celebrities lives and I find it a little odd..

there’s a really easy way to “deal” with facebook and twitter and other social media outlets if they’re causing stress in your life.

She’s gonna title it “What have I done?” Is she that dumb? What have you done? You broke up a two marriages, one that had kids involved and then you INAPPROPRIATELY post pics of Brandi’s children on Mothers Day with you trying to take the place of their Mom, then bash their Mom w/ words your true character shows!!! Oh and don’t forget the disgusting and inappropriate birthday cake she had made for Eddie with the kids watching n giggling at her and Eddie “playing” in bed!!! If she’s gonna keep acting the victim then we are just going to continue to hate her.

Plenty of celebrities opt out of social media, and try their best to maintain a low profile. Many also choose to never discuss their personal lives in interviews as well. She’s acting like doing that isn’t an option. I would hope that at least one of her therapists suggested that to her, because it honestly seems like the healthiest option.
