90 DAY FIANCÉ THE OTHER WAY Is Vittorio’s apartment an Airbnb rental?
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers are a bit suspicious about Vittorio Palchetti’s Tuscan apartment, which he reportedly did not tell his American girlfriend Jessy Peralta about.
Jessy and viewers were given a tour of Vittorio’s apartment in Season 8, Episode 3. The furnishings and decor were very nice, but there didn’t appear to be any personal photos or items that were clearly Vittorio’s.
Starcasm can confirm Vittorio’s Tuscan apartment is actually an Airbnb rental. The apartment is one of several rentals available as part of Casa Barthel, a large estate located roughly 15 minutes from downtown Florence.
Vittorio’s apartment is called “The Music House” or “Casa della Musica.” Below are a few photos of The Music House from Casa Barthel’s social media pages under nearly identical screen caps of Vittorio’s apartment featured on The Other Way.
In addition to apparently fibbing about his apartment, Vittorio also got the resident horse’s name wrong. He told Jessy the horse’s name is Giuseppe, but all of Casa Barthel’s posts featuring the horse call him Astro.

It’s interesting to note that Casa Barthel has a modern looking treehouse available as a rental. If you look through the Facebook photos above, you can see it in the background as Vittorio is making up facts about the horse to Jessy. I assume producers consciously avoided showing it because of it’s modern look.
Why would Vittorio use a fake apartment? Obviously, the “surprise” countryside relocation provided a great story line for him and his city girl Jessy. I also suspect it made filming a lot easier and cheaper.
Sharp likely rented out all of the Casa Barthel Airbnb rentals for production and crew and used it as a home base. And how easy would it be if Vittorio and Jessy were there as well?
In addition to convenient filming, renting out all of the available Airbnbs would also mean producers wouldn’t have to deal with/inconvenience other guests. (This is purely speculation.)
Viewers were already skeptical about Vittorio and Jessy’s story line due to their apparent lack of physical chemistry and Jessy’s reality television resume. The “fake” apartment surely won’t help convince those skeptical viewers.
That being said, if you are looking for a place to stay 15 minutes outside of Florence, Italy, the Casa Barthel Airbnb rentals all look AMAZING! 😍
