90 DAY FIANCÉ THE OTHER WAY Jessy Peralta was on on 2 other reality shows, including a TLC dating show in 2020

TLC just revealed the cast for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 8, and it includes one person who is new to 90 Day Fiancé, but not new to reality shows — or TLC.

“Jessy is a vibrant pageant queen from the Bronx with a history of choosing the wrong men,” reads TLC’s official The Other Way bio for Jesaura “Jessy” Peralta.

Jessy’s “history of choosing the wrong men” was previously showcased by TLC when she appeared on Find Love Live in 2020.

Find Love Live was recorded during the COVID pandemic, and was essentially the first all-virtual dating show in which the couples didn’t actually ever meet in person.

During each episode of FIND LOVE LIVE, one pre-selected “singleton” will be given the opportunity to “interview” and flirt with three potential suitors live, via video, all in the hopes of finding Mr. or Ms. Right. America will also chime in via Twitter and play the role of matchmaker; viewers will be encouraged to cast their votes in real time on who they think should be selected for the virtual date using hashtags for their favorite match. Host Sukanya will serve as part referee and part cupid throughout the process before the singleton makes their decision. Once the choice is made, the couple will embark on their first virtual meet up, to be shared with viewers in the following week’s episode. Love is loud, love is crazy and just maybe, love can be found with a little help from America, the internet and live TV!

Jessy was featured in the third episode titled “Third Time’s A Charm.” (Her episode was right after the show featured 90 Day Fiancé stalwart Jesse Meester in Episode 2.) The synopsis of the episode states “Jessy is a beauty pageant queen who loves her Chihuahua, Mia, and the man she chooses must love dogs!”

Jessy was courted by three men named Marcus, Ryan and Rob.

I won’t give away any spoilers for those of you wanting to watch the episode. But, given her appearance on the new season of The Other Way, you should be able to predict she didn’t find her happily ever after.

JESSY PERALTA ON SHE’S SINGLE NEW YORK

In February of 2021, Jesaura “Jessy” Peralta was announced as one of five women starring in the reality series She’s Single New York.

She’s SINGLE New York follows five pulchritudinous women as they date, work and travel. Introducing us to their demanding careers, fast-paced social life, and the men who just can’t seem to get it right the first time. These ambitious and nurturing women prove that they’re not just among the working-class, but women ready to settle down and meet that special someone. But no one said finding love in the Big City was going to be easy.

The online-only series ran for eight episodes, including a 100-minute “Family Reunion” finale.

The 90 Day Fiancé franchise is no stranger to casting television show veterans, and some viewers have grown a bit wary of those cast members being more prone to contrived story lines. Those worries are amplified on the 90 Day shows that don’t require the financial commitment of a K-1 visa, like The Other Way and Before The 90 Days.

Jessy and Vittorio’s synopsis certainly seems to have some serious red flags as far as authenticity goes. “After a year together, the couple has yet to have sex,” it reads. (It seems nearly impossible to me these two have been dating a year without having sex. 😒)

“Vittorio’s family has doubts about their relationship, and both are keeping secrets that could turn their future upside down. As the truth begins to unravel, Jessy must decide whether her fairytale romance is worth fighting for.”
